Head of Hockey Performance
Jordan is currently completing his Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Kinesiology while playing for the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings. He has played for every GPAC Team and went on to play 3 years for the Grande Prairie Storm. The next three years were spent at Red Deer College playing for the RDC Kings and received a Diploma in Kinesiology: Coaching & Sports Performance. Jordan is extremely passionate about bringing the best possible training to the Peace Country for athletes to develop.
Tanner played most of his minor hockey in GP and went on to play for the Grande Prairie Storm for four years. He then went on to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Tanner began his professional career playing for the Missouri Mavericks in the ECHL, and has spent the last two season splitting time between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the AHL and the New York Islanders in the NHL. Tanner always looks forward to any opportunity he gets to share his wealth of knowledge with his hometown community.
Head of Goaltending
Curtis was born in Peace River but moved to GP when he was 10. He played through the GPAC system playing Bantam AAA and then Midget AAA as a 15 and 16 year old. He then went on to play two years for the Grande Prairie Storm and two years for the Drumheller Dragons. The highlight of his Jr career was when he got to suit up for Team Canada West in the WJAC, helping them to a silver medal. Curtis is currently backstopping the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings while finishing his Bachelor in History Degree. Curtis is very excited to come back to GP for the spring and summer to dedicate his time to young goaltenders.
Strength & Conditioning Coach
Head of Nutrition
Steph was born and raised in Trail, BC where she played all of her minor hockey. She then went on to play for the SAIT Trojans where she received a certificate in Nutrition: Health and Wellness. She moved to Grande Prairie in 2017 where she began her studies at GPRC for a diploma in Fitness Leadership. She is currently the assistant coach/strength & conditioning coach for the Midget Elite Storm. Steph has a strong passion for health, nutrition, strength & conditioning.
Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Carter was born in Sexsmith, AB and played minor hockey there until playing Bantam AAA in GP. He went on the play Midget AAA and three years with the Grande Prairie Storm. He is currently playing in his second year with the Brooks Bandits, hoping to help lead the team to a RBC Championship. Carter has always prioritized fitness and health in order to make himself the best athlete possible. He is planning on pursuing a post-secondary education in exercise science to help contribute to the development of athletes in the peace country.
